Trade goods (also called commodities) are items used in trading.
Every city and colony has its own supply and demand. Trade goods can only be purchased and sold at trader NPCs. The goods vary in level from level 1 to 12. Goods can only be carried on the player's ship and players can not be teleported whilst carrying any goods. Holding goods whilst on the high seas attracts the attention of pirate NPC ships. Goods can be traded freely between cities for a small profit and eloquence experience. Goods are also the main focus of the Trading Points Card system. There is a set of merchant quests which involve the delivery of goods to quest NPCs for rewards.
Colony goods are used to increase the trade index of colonial ports.
