There are two types of Titles in VC. The most important one is known as the Noble Title and is a rank-based system. The other Title is based on certain skills, marital status or special event rewards and is for display use only. (call it bragging rights)
Noble Title[]
Noble Titles are required for wearing of certain uniforms (ex: White Armour) and certain weapons (ex: Refined Fatal Cross Gun). This structure was foundation of charactor advancement for the original release of the game, as almost all uniform and weapon use were dependent upon your Noble Level. While still relevant for some items, it has been replaced by the Professional Levels as backbone of advancement.
Noble Titles are no longer displayed above charactor, but are seen in Chats.
